At Digital Dentistry, only white fillings – either composite resin or glass ionomer cements are used for our patients. The quality and strength of white fillings has improved significantly over the last decade and it can replace the function of amalgam fillings with improved aesthetics.
We remove the existing amalgam fillings upon patient’s request, however this is usually not necessary if the amalgam filling is sound.
